About Chad Warner
I’m Chad Warner, founder of Defending Digital. I want to share with you what I’ve learned (and will learn!) so that you can protect your family and yourself.
I’ve been interested in digital security and privacy since high school. That interest has increased ever since, through college (my degree is in Information Systems), hobbyist adventures (such as wardriving), and professional life. I’ve worked in various roles in Information Technology (IT) since 2004, including as a systems administrator and web design agency owner.
I’ve been using the Web since dial-up days. I’ve run a web design agency since 2010. For several years my agency has provided website security services, defending websites against malicious bots, hackers, and other attacks.
Most of my knowledge and experience is in helping adults protect themselves online, through personal cybersecurity and online privacy. But, as a parent of young children, I’m committed to helping parents protect their kids online.
Yes, I want to protect my kids as they grow, but I also want to teach them to defend themselves. I want you to be able to do the same for your family!
I learn faster by hearing from parents about their digital parenting challenges, so I invite you to send your questions. I’ll consider creating content to answer them!
I geek out over Tolkien and Star Wars, and decorate my office with LEGOs. I’m so glad my kids are LEGO fans, too!
Join me on this quest to defend your family’s digital life!
